Cloaking Devices

Today I traveled by air to Kansas City and realized we are back in the season of carrying one's coat with you on the plane. What a pain this is? What do you do with it? Do you stuff it in the overhead? Keep it in your lap....sit on it? There is hardly enough room in the seat for you, let alone a heavy coat. If you are going someplace warm, then for heavens sake, leave it in your car. But if like me you are going somewhere that will require a coat, then what?

There has to be an answer....

And honestly I don't have an answer to this one but would welcome all comments and suggestions.
