I spent July 3-5, 2010 at the park and local area. This is so one of God's paint brushes. The view is incredible. LOTS of lakes in the area. Lots of hidden camp sites (can't see them from the main road). LOTS of places to pull over and take pictures. Go up to 9000+ ft above sea level. With some planning, there is lodging available in the park. Be sure to pack snacks/food and water because the sources for food are a little thin. But that's ok. Three days was hardly enough time, especially if you want to see the 'off the main road' stuff and do some hiking which is the only way to see some of the waterfalls.
